This was a spur-of-the-moment idea, and not really well fleshed out. I think I might have something to say, especially when I’ve had a large whiskey or two, so I’ll just go ahead and use this blog to say it.
The inspiration for this blog’s name is basically the large (double) whiskey and soda, or better still the large whiskey on the rocks. If there’s one thing the British contributed to India which has been an unalloyed positive, it’s the idea of a large drink or cocktail to end your day, and perhaps give you permission to express all the things you thought but didn’t say during the day.
Anyway, I have the large whiskey in hand, and a few things to say, so here goes…
